In February 1982 Hans-Jürgen Derboben founded the company “HANS-JÜRGEN DERBOBEN HOLZIMPORT “as a partnership based on the Elbe island Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg. The subject of business activity and is still trading in lumber and semi-finished products all kinds.

In 1994 the Partnership converted into “DERBOBEN HOLZIMPORT GmbH”.

We are a member in the “Gesamtverband Deutscher Holzhandel eV” and also form Offspring for wholesale and foreign trade.

Our high-quality sawn timber and laminated wood panels for Interior construction, furniture production, stair construction and molding and parquet production we store ready for call in two warehouses in Hamburg and one more in Mecklenburg / Western Pomerania.

We also supply our customers with direct transport from the North German and European seaports, sawmills and Glued wood works.

Since 2001 our customers can also use FSC-certified sawn timber and obtain semi-finished products from us.
