Our range of binder timber includes the following product groups: structural timber, KVH raw material, KVH raw lamella, S10 slats, laminated truss lamellas, BSH lamellas (glulam lamellae), frames, squared timber, rafters, binder timber (nailed plates), wedge planks, slats , board goods in 18 and 24 millimeters, rough tongue, pallet and packaging timber.
Binder wood through the ages
Since the 1970s, the classic nail binder has been increasingly replaced by the nail plate binder. The static system is the same, however the connection points are now connected with nail plates.
Nail plates can be understood as robust steel plates, from which nails are punched out and bent out (angled) at regular intervals.
The nail plates are then pressed into the wood on both sides with presses.
task and use
In this country, nail plate trusses are mostly used in one-story buildings where a larger area is to be spanned without supports. A typical example is a supermarket.
