Round wood
The flexibility and capability of our company is proved by the fact that we purchase logs in fixed lengths of 4 and 5 metres, and long trunks in lengths from 17 to 21 metres that are used mainly as structural timber.
Quality and ecology are also of essential importance in that case, because we get the bigger part of the round wood from the Bavarian Forest, the Bohemian Forest or from the neighbouring forest regions in Austria. Against this background, the long-standing cooperation with the forest owners and the forest industry based on partnership and friendship pays off because they are guarantors for a permanent and secured supply.
Information about our logs
We manufacture our sawmill products from commercially available logs that we buy from different regions and that have been stored for different lengths of time and that we only visually assess for their quality and suitability for certain products. Our deliveries are put together by us according to our choice from stock goods and freshly produced round wood.
