You have attentively read the pages with information about our company? If so, you know that DERBOBEN HOLZIMPORT GmbH  – to be precise – is at home at the best and most famous concert hall all over the world.

So to say, the soundboard of a piano ist the “soul and the heart” of this instrument. The knowledge of tonewood has a long tradition in our neighbouring region, the Bohemian Forest. We have been using this knowledge and the experience since 1982 processing selected spruce logs and manufacturing high-grade soundboards. When visiting next a concert or hearing piano music on radio or TV you might notice that the remarkable sound is originated by our tonewood from the Bavarian Forest.
